JASHT — Just A Simple Habit Tracker
Don't break
the chain.
Set a daily target, log what you actually did, and JASHT keeps score — streaks, a long-term heatmap and all-time stats, so showing up today is its own reward.
The full app, right in the browser — no install, no sign-up. The iOS app is coming to the App Store soon.

How it works
Three steps, every day
No plans, no rigid schedules — just a target you set once and a number you log each day.
Say what you're committing to
Name the habit, set a daily target and pick a unit — minutes, liters, steps, sets or a simple done/not done.

Log what you actually did
Tap the checkbox, adjust the number if you did more or less. Entries add up within a day, so partial progress still counts.

Watch the chain grow
Streaks, a 15-week heatmap and completion stats build up automatically — the record you're chasing is your own.

Why JASHT
Built around one idea: don't break the chain
Everything in JASHT exists to make today's entry easy and yesterday's progress visible.
Streaks that mean something
Consecutive days count toward a running streak. Miss a day and it resets — but your longest streak is kept forever.
15-week heatmap
Every habit gets a history grid shaded by how much you logged, from Less to Top, so patterns jump out at a glance.
A moment when you hit target
Cross your daily target and a confetti celebration marks it — a full trophy when every habit is done for the day.
A day-by-day achievements log
Every logged day, newest first, with every habit that had an entry — a plain record of how consistent you have been.
Private by design
Your habits stay on your device — no account, no ads, nothing sold. Sign in with email, Google or Apple only if you want to sync.
Built for accessibility
Descriptive labels for VoiceOver and TalkBack, and every animation respects your system Reduce Motion setting.
Inside the app
Three tabs. Nothing you don't need.

FAQ
Questions people ask before they start
The short version: tracking is free, nothing leaves your device unless you turn on sync, and you can start in the browser without signing up.
What does JASHT cost?
Tracking is free — permanently, not as a trial that runs out. Unlimited habits and entries, streaks, the heatmap and every statistic cost nothing, work without an account, and show no ads. The one paid feature is syncing your data between devices, which is an optional subscription.
What is in the sync subscription?
A subscription keeps your habits, entries and history in step across every device you sign in on, through your JASHT account. The price and billing period are shown before you confirm the purchase, and you can cancel any time from your App Store account settings. Accounts created before sync became a paid feature keep syncing at no cost.
What kind of habits can I track?
Anything you can put a number on — reading in minutes, water in liters, a run in kilometers, push-ups in sets, steps in steps — or a plain done/not done for habits that have no unit. You set the daily target yourself when you create the habit.
What happens to my streak if I miss a day?
A streak counts consecutive days where you hit your target, so missing a day resets the current streak to zero. Your longest streak is kept forever, and the 15-week heatmap still shows every day you logged something.
Do I need an account to use JASHT?
No. JASHT works without one, and your habits stay on the device you use them on. An account — an email code, Google or Apple — is only needed for syncing between devices, which is the paid part.
Who can see my habits and entries?
Only you. Without an account nothing leaves your device at all. With sync switched on, your habits and entries are scoped to your account alone — never shared with other users, sold, or used for advertising. You can export or delete your data at any time.
Which platforms and languages does JASHT support?
Today JASHT runs in any modern browser through the web app — the complete app, nothing to install. The iOS and iPadOS app is coming to the App Store soon; an Android version may follow later. The interface is available in English and German, with light and dark mode.
Does partial progress count?
Yes. Entries add up within a day, so logging 10 minutes in the morning and 10 more in the evening counts as 20 toward a 20-minute target.
